A Glad Heart Makes a Happy Face; a Broken Heart Crushes the Spirit

When the weeping turns to laughter we discover our yesterdays. When laughter turns to tears we get lost in the things we love.

There is a phrase most are familiar with, “Never say Never”. We are never complete and still we seek to find our wholeness. On a road to happiness we take our first steps. Saying never means to say we won’t.

Think about it, we say never but then we change our mind.

Reflecting upon our time on this earth, we see the changes in ourself as we evolve. We are continuously moving on in our journey.

As we age, we make choices. Either we are filled with few regrets or we love how it all turned out.

The Bible says, weeping will only last a night and joy will come in the morning. When we awake to the new sunrise and smell the morning coffee, we smile. Yesterday was hard but today is a new day.

When we are filled with love and laughter comes freely, we find our true connection. We are connected, all of us. When we laugh so hard, our bellies ache and our faces hurt, we begin to let go of our troubles.

Wherever your heart is, your love will follow. Keep your mind-set on good things. Focus on the blessings in your life and be excited about who you are. Let the laughter flow so freely that it becomes second nature.

Proverbs 15:13 says, “A glad heart makes a happy face; a broken heart crushes the spirit.”

Life is a series of choices. You can choose to be happy or choose to be sad. Let your heart be glad.

I have refrained from giving my opinion during this election. The discouragement and lack of respect given to each of the opponents show little to no value for the American people.
