Setting Goals in Life

Setting goals in life is not only smart, it is effective if you want to succeed in life. So what is the key to success?  Discovering this essential element in life creates structure. It’s a natural remedy to happiness and satisfaction. Finding success in life opens the whole world at your feet.

John C. Maxwell once said, “This isn’t a dress rehearsal; it’s a live performance. We need to take special care to live a useful life starting now.”

Successful people set personal goals throughout life, they create visions and understand their purpose in life. Breaking down barriers and opening doors, their goals give meaning to their success.

For such Goals are those dreams, with a deadline attached.

  1. Hi Faith,
You certainly have to have goals 🙂 Without goals you drift aimlessly 😦
But we have to set ourselves realistic goals…
I have just set myself a new goal thanks to a comment left on my blog by Margaret, a lady in Chile 🙂 funny where inspiration comes from 🙂 and her sugggestion has put a bounce back in my step:)

  2. If I didn’t have a goal in mind, I would be lost. Reaching for goals, keeps me motivated and determined.

  3. I am always setting goals for myself and don’t shy away from making my list long or the goals on it too grand. I do find, however, that it’s easy to become overwhelmed if I don’t allow myself all the help available to me. I use an online tool to help with every stage of every goal. Before I found it I would achieve maybe 20% of the goals I set and now I would say that’s more like 85%. That’s a pretty good success rate considering the size of some of the goals I set.
