All too often we fail to recognize the negativity of our thoughts. We ramble on and on about how bad the world is but we forget the great magnitude of it.
“What strength do I have, that I should still hope? What prospects, that I should be patient?” – Job 6:11 (NIV)
Left with feelings of doubt, we are worried and exhausted. Beating ourselves up for mistakes we made, we feel regret. Our lives are by no means a mistake. We are wonderfully made, more than conquerors, we are spiritual warriors.
There is a raging war unseen before us. The mockery and voices of evil want to destroy us. Feelings of fear and doubt crush our spirits. Turning away from those thoughts will lead you to victory.
Put on your cap with the mind of Christ. See the world with His eyes. Understand that His will for you is to accomplish great things. His desire for you is have a life, full of joy and great blessings.
“I lift up my eyes to the hills; where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip; he who watches over you will not slumber” – Psalm 121:1-3 (NIV)
We can achieve great success if we do our part and leave the rest to God. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. We don’t have all the answers and some things we will never understand in this life.
The Bible says to pick up your cross and follow Jesus.
He carried the heavy load so we didn’t have to. Our cross is light and He will help us lift it.
The path we choose, He will be there with us. His promise is as true today as it was during the days of Abraham, Isaiah, and John.
His word is truth and that truth will set you free.
When you are hungry, He will feed you. When you are sad, He will comfort you. When you are lonely, He will be your friend.
Have you been beaten down and left shattered? Walk in His footsteps and look ahead, for He is carrying you.
May these thoughts lift your spirits and bless your day.
Another thought provoking post 🙂

Thanks Pip.. Sometimes life slaps me with wake up calls.
Appreciate you stopping by and encouraging me. 🙂
I have been broken down and shattered, it took lots of prayers and a genuine desire to let go and live by the values I had stored in my heart. As I now have a stronger will and steadfast faith that will carry me through a lifetime with perseverance and determination to live the best life possible.
Penny thanks for sharing this.. I know that feeling all too well.. sometimes when we get back up, we fall again. But each time we are stronger than we were before.
Keep the faith. Blessings to you.
Yes I have been beaten down and shattered. It’s only when I finally allowed God to pull me up that I became stronger and appreciated my worth.
