God cannot be put in a box, let’s unwrap Him all year long. Now that Christmas is over we are delighted to relax from the season’s madness, get back to normal activities and plunge into the new year.
With all that behind us, we think, now I can enjoy my Christmas gifts and get ready for the big New Year‘s party.
We are mistaken to think in terms like that. The big party is not happening at the end of this week when the clock strikes midnight.
The real celebration will come when we are reunited with our friends & families & the greatest Love of all, our Savior Jesus Christ. That’s when the party can begin.
New year resolutions, new presents under the Christmas tree, nothing pales in comparison to seeing our God face to face. All our pain, all the losses in this life, will then be wiped away.
Unwrapping the presents under the tree is exciting, celebrating the beginning of a new year is entertaining, but overlooking the most crucial event is pointless. The real reason we celebrate should not be removed after the holidays are over.
Celebrating His birth all year long is a gift He gave us. Just as the life God gave you was a gift, how you live your life will be your gift back to Him; the ultimate Creator of this universe.
Unlock the gift you have been given and keep Christ in your heart all year long. The cleansing of the Holy Spirit will deepen your faith as you are renewed. You might be surprised at the blessings that are poured back.
Remember you can never out-give God.

Truly the gift offered to us is everlasting!
We can appreciate it again and again by honoring His presence in us; by being a gift to everyone we meet and appreciating the gift of meeting them.
Happy New Year and thank you for the gift of yourself!
