“Let go and let God,” that saying has been repeated over and over but can we really, let it go? Finding myself anxious over little things, sometimes things that really don’t matter at all, I tell myself to let it go and give it to God, but how can I do that? After all, I’m human, I make mistakes. Nobody is perfect. So I forgive myself and move on. Yet worried thoughts continue to haunt me, anxious thoughts with feelings that paralyze.Stuck in moments of emotional healing, trying to figure it out on my own. Asking myself, what is it that I’m really worried about? Knowing that fear and doubt is common, are we willing to yield our lives to the direction and counsel of the Holy Spirit? Discovering peace within myself, lifting up those worries to the One who cares the most, gives me hope.
