It’s the end of another year. As we say goodbye to 2014, let’s look back and reflect on another year that was given to us.
Let us take a moment to remind ourselves of the blessings in our life, the friendships we have, and the love we are able to give. Let us fill ourselves with gratitude for surviving any trials we went through as we display hope for a new year.
And as we move forward, let us heal from our hurts, mend what was broken, and learn from our past. If this year was difficult due to loss of a loved one, let us honor their life by living ours to the fullest. Let us not take each other for granted and let us hold on to the peace that the Lord so mercifully gives us.
Whatever this past year has meant to you, my prayer is that 2015 will be richer than last, more gracious than the past, and not go by so fast.
For every year that passes, we grow a little more, we live with greater expectations, and we believe next year will be better than the past.
Happy new year 2015. We welcome you with grace-filled hearts, open minds and with hopeful anticipation. This is my blessing for you.
