When you’re feeling rejected, abandoned or mistreated, remember the one who loves you. God is waiting with outstretched arms to hold you, to comfort you.
There’s a myth that says you’ve got to clean up your act before you can come to God. It’s not true, you come to God with your problems: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Jesus says, “Come as you are.”
There’s no need for fear or doubt. The worries, the problems and the anxieties of this life have been washed away. When feelings of despair creep into your thoughts, keep this verse in mind, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” (Psalms 147:3)
No matter what you might be facing today remember there is a God who hears your cry and loves you so deeply, more than you can ever imagine. Hold on to that promise for He will never leave you nor forsake you. God says, “You don’t have to clean up your act. Just bring it all to me. Bring me all your problems. I have the answer.”
When life gets you down and you feel rejected or abandoned, open the good book. Read the Psalms for comfort, read Proverbs for wisdom in answers, and read the book of love God has left behind for you.
It’s been referred to as the Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth book , the Bible is filled with people who were rejected and mistreated. While each of them sought answers to their problems God showed up. He is still present and near to those who are hurting. The Bible tells us, “He will send down help from heaven to save me because of his love.” (Psalm 57:3)
Jesus came from heaven to save us because he loves us. May your life be richly blessed and may you find peace in all circumstances. This is my message for you today.
