In respect to fresh wisdom, I search the internet. Clicking up and down to find something of inspiration to spark my interest and refresh my spirit. Initially I am let down; occasionally, I find something that peaks my curiosity. If I continue on my quest, I find a short story that is truly inspiring. It would be nice if everything was in order, well balanced, and all sorted out, to make it easier to navigate.
Why is it so easy to find the negative headlines and news stories instead of the positive ones? Am I looking in the wrong places? There are those “positive” stories that generate a lot of buzz that I find interesting, however many of them are encased around depressing circumstances. Is it inspiring only when suffering is involved? I’m not stating the obvious here only trying to find the positive.
Our conditions are frail state of existence. Essentially we run around like the wind catching whatever we fancy to appease ourselves. We are creatures of habit. Waking up, performing the same routines day after day. Looking for meaning and purpose, we delve into our pasts hoping to find answers. Self-help books and motivational speakers are so popular that we cling to them for personal happiness.
Expectations of a better life are not found in the daily headlines. Captivating messages of hope may surrender our attitudes that form our soul, to make us feel better for a little while. Characterizing a life well-lived, to occasionally let our guard down and seek the truth, will do wonders for your soul. Lifting your spirits with selfless consideration to inspire another activates your passions.
There’s a saying that goes something like this, Sing like no one is listening, dance like no one is watching, and love like you’ve never been hurt before. After all my searches are over, I find the only inspiration I need comes from my Heavenly Father.
Discovering peace and contentment to quiet my soul, in all circumstances, I try to live a balanced life, to learn something new every day.
Press forward and keep the love moving, passing it on to someone else today.
