A Poem by Faithdream
I’m new to this writing place
just looking around for a familiar face.
Finding my way to see what it’s all about,
Releasing my fears, removing my doubt.
Looking for inspiration to tell my story,
Honoring my God, through all His glory.
Tell me about those things that I left behind.
Those hurts and issues which creep into my mind.
Whistling tunes of days gone by
Wondering and considering all the reasons why.
Standing upon this mountain that stings
Finding hope and healing that only faith brings.
Searching the depths of my inner soul,
While influencing a small silhouette of a life untold.
Impulsive thoughts, inspiring dreams capture my mind.
Pioneering fantasies of what all I could find.
Awakened by this moment of a fleeing opportunity,
I find myself whimsical during my adversity.
